The Mid Atlas trek consists of 3 or 5 days trekking in some of the most remote villages of this region.
 The journey takes you alongside rivers, lakes and  gorges and provides stunning views with the Middle Atlas Mountains as your backdrop. 
We will take a linear route and our accommodation will be a mixture of gites and camping. 
On your return to Fes or Meknes there will be the opportunity to explore its souks, food markets and historic palaces.

Day 1: Arrival in Casablanca, visit the Hassan II Mosque, then transfer to Fes for check-in at your Riad.
Day 2: Transfer to Ain Leuh, start of the Middle Atlas trip, lunch on-site, visit to a Gazelles nature reserve, and overnight stay in Ain Leuh or Ajaabou.
Day 3: Journey through green oak forests, beautiful cedar groves of Kissarit, and the Saghroun valley. Dinner and overnight stay at a camp.
Day 4: Explore the village of Zaouia, enjoy the Mediterranean climate and landscapes, visit caves, cliffs, and waterfalls. Dinner and overnight stay at a camp or gite.
Day 5: Further exploration of Zaouia, followed by a hike towards the sources feeding Zaouiat and ending the day at the Lake of Ouiouane. Bivouac overnight after a 5-hour walk.
Day 6: Traverse a cedar forest, explore the Oum Rabia valley, and optionally visit Oum Rabia water sources. Return to the campsite for overnight stay.
Day 7: Pack up and return to Fez, check-in at your hotel, free leisure time to explore the city, and overnight stay.
Day 8: Sightseeing in Fes including the Old Medina, Karaouine mosque, Attarin Madrasa, and Nejjarine fountain. Return to Casablanca, check-in at your hotel, farewell dinner at a restaurant, and overnight stay.
Day 9: Check-out and transfer to the airport for departure, marking the end of the tour.
