Located in northern Morocco, Chefchaouen provides a scenic setting for trekking in the Rif Mountains. Our journey, guided by locals, will take us through ancient paths and small villages, where we can experience Berber culture and taste traditional food. As we hike, we’ll come across waterfalls and enjoy wide views before reaching the summit, where we can see Chefchaouen’s famous blue buildings set against the mountains. Whether you’re an experienced hiker or just starting out, this trek offers a memorable experience in Chefchaouen.

Day 1 Casablanca
Casablanca-Arrival
Upon arrival at Casablanca Airport, you will be greeted by our chauffeur and transferred to your hotel for check-in. In the afternoon, you'll visit the Hassan II Mosque, the largest mosque in Africa. Afterward, you'll return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Casablanca.
Day 2 Casablanca-Tangier-Chefchaouen
From Casablanca to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen with a stop in Tangier. In Tangier, you'll explore the Medina, visit the Caves of Hercules, and see Cap Spartel. Afterward, continue your journey to Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy an overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
Day 3 Chefchaouen-Akchour-Zawiya
Bridge of God
After Breakfast, Departure from Chefchaouen and begin your first hike towards the Pont de Dieu, a captivating 2.5 hour journey. The majestic Pont de Dieu, also known as "Bridge of God", is a natural wonder worth discovering. Admire the geological formations and hills surrounded by mountains, creating a stunning tale of the region's rich history. The red rock formation is even more spectacular at sunset. After this short hike, set off for another adventure to the Akchour waterfalls, nestled in the heart of the mountains. The hike to the waterfalls takes around 5 hours, allowing you to enjoy a picnic by the river. Finally, transfer to Gîte Talassemtane for Dinner and a peaceful night.
Day 4 The Berber Villages
The Berber Villages
After breakfast, take a leisurely stroll through the villages of the Rif Mountains, where you can explore the local culture and take in the surrounding landscape. You'll have the chance to learn about the daily lives of the people in this region of Morocco. Enjoy a picnic in the wilderness before returning to Gîte Talassemtane for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 Fir Forest
Fir Forest
After breakfast, drive to the heart of Talassemtane Park. There, you'll encounter Barbary macaques, along with various birds and other wildlife native to the region. Explore the vast, inviting forest with a walk, enjoy lunch in the peaceful surroundings, and then return to Gîte Talassemtane for the evening.
Day 6 Zawiya Habteen-Aghzalin
From Zawiya to Aghzalin
After breakfast, depart for Chefchaouen, passing through the forests of Talassemtane and nearby Berber villages. Enjoy a 4-hour walk through this scenic area before returning to the Gîte for the evening..
Day 7 Zawiya Habteen-Chefchaouen
Back to Chefchaouen
After breakfast, depart by 4x4 towards Chefchaouen. Upon arrival, check in at your hotel. Begin your visit to this charming city by exploring the blue-washed houses and the Kasbah in El Hamam Square, a restored fortress with a beautiful garden, a small ethnographic museum, and a tiny art gallery. Continue by visiting the Old Medina and Ras Elma. After a day of sightseeing, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Chefchaouen.
Day 8 Chefchaouen-Casablanca Departure
Back home
After breakfast, depart for Casablanca. Upon arrival, you'll be transferred to the airport for your departure. This marks the end of our services. Safe travels!
