Day 1 Arrival-Marrakech Airport
Arrival in Marrakech
Upon your arrival at Marrakech Airport, you’ll be warmly welcomed and assisted by our staff. Afterward, you'll be transferred to your hotel for check-in. Settle in and enjoy a restful overnight stay.
Day 2 Marrakech-Tiziane
Trekking Through the Ouirgane Valley to Tiziane
Your journey begins in Tassa Ouirgane, nestled at 1,500 meters in the Ouirgane Valley. From here, you'll start your trek to Tiziane, reaching an altitude of 1,800 meters. The route takes you through the serene juniper and redwood forests of Tassa National Park, winding along the picturesque red-soiled Azzadene Valley. As you leave the forests behind, you'll be rewarded with stunning mountain views and pass through small, isolated hamlets and villages, offering a glimpse into the local way of life.
Day 3 Tizgui
Ascending to Tizi ‘n Touati and Camping Near Tizgui
Today, you'll leave the Azzadene Valley behind and trek up to the Tizi ‘n Touati pass. From this vantage point, you'll be treated to a breathtaking panorama of the High Atlas range. The descent takes you through a forest of oaks and past charming villages with stone-walled sheep pens. You'll end the day camping near Tizgui at Azib Assoul, at an altitude of 2,300 meters, surrounded by the tranquility of the mountains.
Day 4 Tizi Oussem
Crossing Tizi ‘n Tagoudalte Pass to Tizi Oussem Village
Today’s journey takes you across the Tizi ‘n Tagoudalte pass at 2,700 meters, offering stunning views of the western High Atlas mountains. From there, you’ll descend through alpine landscapes rich with wildflowers and herbs. Following a river, you’ll pass terraced fields and groves of walnut trees as you make your way to the village of Tizi Oussem, located at 1,900 meters. The afternoon is yours to relax or explore the village. You’ll spend the night in a traditional gite, experiencing local hospitality.
Day 5 Aremd
Waterfall Trek and Crossing Tizi ‘n Mzik Pass
Begin the day with a trek to a small waterfall at Azib Tamsoulte, enjoying the peaceful surroundings. Afterward, you'll cross the Tizi ‘n Mzik pass at 2,500 meters, taking in the beautiful mountain views. The trail then leads you to the main Toubkal Valley at Aremd, where you'll settle in for the night in a village gite, surrounded by the serene beauty of the High Atlas.
Day 6 Toubkal Refuge
Ascending the Toubkal Valley to Base Camp
Today, you'll gradually ascend the Toubkal Valley, passing through the pilgrimage hamlet of Sidi Chamarouch. The journey continues to the Toubkal Refuge, located at 3,200 meters, where you'll set up camp at the foot of Mount Toubkal. The serene surroundings and the towering peak above make for a perfect ending to the day as you prepare for the climb ahead.
Day 7 Toubkal-Imlil
Summit Day: Conquering Mt. Toubkal
An early start sets the pace for the challenging trek to the summit of Mt. Toubkal, standing tall at 4,167 meters as the highest mountain in North Africa. After taking in the breathtaking views from the top, you'll return to base camp and then continue with a gradual descent through the village of Sidi Chamarouch. Your day ends with a well-deserved night and dinner at Riad Oussagou in Imlil, where you can relax and reflect on your achievement.
Day 8 Imlil-Marrakech
Return to Marrakech and Afternoon Exploration
After breakfast, you'll be transferred back to Marrakech. Upon arrival, check into your riad and enjoy a free afternoon to explore the area around the lively main square at your own pace. Soak in the sights, sounds, and flavors of Marrakech before settling in for the night at your riad.
Day 9 Marrakech
Exploring the Heart of Marrakech
Spend half the day on a guided tour of Marrakech, the historic "Pearl of the South" and the second oldest imperial city in Morocco. You'll visit iconic sites like the Koutoubia Mosque, the Bahia Palace, and the charming winding streets that lead to the vibrant Djemaâ El Fna square. Enjoy a traditional lunch at a local restaurant before returning to your riad for an overnight stay in Marrakech.
Day 10 Departure-Marrakech Airport
Departure from Marrakech
After enjoying breakfast at the hotel, you’ll have some free time at your leisure to soak in the last moments of your trip. When it’s time, you’ll be transferred to the airport for your departure flight. Safe travels!
