Marrakech and Saghro Mountains

The volcanic massif features stunning landscapes, including gorges, towers, and rocky peaks reminiscent of the Hoggar region. You’ll encounter waterfalls, oases with almond trees, oleanders, palm trees, fig trees, and traditional grain granaries.

The presence of nomads and their herds adds a unique character to these mountains. Accommodations include nights with local families or in a gîte, along with one bivouac in the countryside for an authentic experience.

Day 1 Marrakech
Marrakech-Arrival
Upon arrival at Marrakech Airport, you will be welcomed by our chauffeur. You will then be transferred to your riad for check-in. Spend the night at your riad.
Day 2 Marrakech - Tichka Pass Tagudilt village
Marrakech - Tichka Pass Tagudilt village
After breakfast at your hotel in Marrakech, we will transfer over the Tichka Pass, crossing the High Atlas Mountains. Along the way, you'll pass through numerous Berber villages nestled in the mountains.

We'll continue through the desert cities of Ouarzazate, Skoura, and Klaa El Mgouna, where we'll stop for lunch. From there, we'll drive through the small city of Boumalne Dades and head to Tagudilt village. Here, we'll spend the night at a Berber guesthouse and meet our mule team. The journey will take approximately 9 hours.
Day 3 Tagudilt - Almou Nourg

After breakfast we will start our walk on the plateau and then we will start to climb up to Azarzim Pass and have our lunch just before we reach the pass. Then we will go over the pass until we reach the shepards home of Azib Almou N'Ouarg where we will eat dinner and camp. 6 hrs of hiking.
Day 4 Almou Nourg - Igli

From Almou Nourg, we will make our way to the summit of Jbel Sarho (2,592 m / 8,504 ft), also known as Kouaouch. At the top, we’ll take some time to enjoy our accomplishment with a snack and capture the stunning views with a few photos.

As we descend, we will stop for lunch in Tassigdelt. We’ll then continue to the village of Igli, where we’ll camp for the night near the nomadic people and amidst almond orchards. The day’s hike will take approximately 7.5 hours.
Day 5 Igli - Bab N'Ali
Igli - Bab N'Ali
After breakfast in the small village of Igli, we will walk through a narrow gorge next to the Afourer River. We’ll continue down the valley to a scenic area with rock pinnacles known as Bab N'Ali, where we'll have lunch.

A short distance further, we'll visit a waterfall before returning to Bab N'Ali to set up camp for the night. The hike will take about 6 hours.
Day 6 : Bab N'ail - Assif Nirrazzoun

From Bab N' Ali, we will follow the river down the valley to Irrezzoun N' Imlas, where we'll stop for a picnic lunch. After lunch, we'll continue along Asif N' Irrrezzoun, passing farms and almond and fig orchards, as well as palm trees. We will set up camp for the night in this picturesque area. The hike will take approximately 5 hours.
Day 7 Assif nirrazzoun - Handour village

After breakfast at Asif N' Irrezzoun, we will trek through several small Berber villages on our way to Handour. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy lunch and spend the night at a Berber guesthouse.

You’ll have the opportunity to relax, take a shower, wash your clothes, and explore this charming and historic village. The hike will take about 4 hours.
Day 8 Handour village - Marrakech

After breakfast at Asif N' Irrezzoun, we will trek through several small Berber villages on our way to Handour. Upon arrival, we’ll enjoy lunch and spend the night at a Berber guesthouse.

You’ll have the opportunity to relax, take a shower, wash your clothes, and explore this charming and historic village. The hike will take about 4 hours.
Day 9 Marrakech
Departure
After Breakfast, Transfer to Airport. End of Our Services.
